The committee has been working on a fall workshop this year, a first for the committee.  The theme focuses on outreach and collaborations around issues of inclusion and diversity.  Presenters are coming from several libraries, including ones from Kentucky and Tennessee – a truly diverse program.  Scheduled for Oct. 6, you can register here.

The committee is meeting for the first time later this month, welcoming several new members, as well as the past-president and the PR coordinator, serving ex officio.  One of the first items on our agenda is to discuss the annual diversity scholarship the committee oversees.
