Northern Ohio DC User Group meeting

The Cleveland State University Michael Schwartz Library and the Kent State University Libraries are planning the first Northern Ohio Digital Commons User Group Meeting on Monday, April 25, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m at Michael Schwartz Library, Rhodes Tower, room 502. The meeting is open to all libraries in northern Ohio who use Digital Commons as their Institutional Repository. The day’s agenda includes lightning round presentations, small group breakout sessions on select topics, a DC Bells & Whistles webinar, networking opportunities, and more. Bring your IR promotional materials to share with the group.
A schedule of events will be posted soon. Sign in and light breakfast begins at 9:30 a.m. Lunch begins at 11:30 at some nearby (walkable) restaurants. Use this time to network!
Registration
The meeting is free but please register and include your lightning round topic if presenting (5 minute limit) and your choice of restaurant for lunch ($ on your own). Reservations will be made for you if needed. Choice of restaurants include Cafe Ah Roma, Elements Bistro, Sung’s House (vegan options), Phuel Cafe (vegan options). Please register here.
Parking
Parking will be reserved for you for a fee of $8. When you register to attend the DC+NOUG meeting, enter “yes” in the Parking Reservation field and then visit the CSU ShopNet account to pay by credit card (Enter your first and last name and click on the “DC+NOUG meeting at the Library” Radio Button). Parking Instructions will be emailed to you once payment is verified. There is metered parking around the campus, but there are no guarantees that a space will be available.
