I would like to encourage members to apply for the Continuing Education Grant. Each year, ALAO’s Professional Development Committee awards this grant to members who are pursing a professional library degree or would like to attend a conference, workshop or other educational event. One award per year is set for up to $2000. The deadline for submitting grant applications is January 15, 2009.
